A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a blog about Garden of the Gods with pictures from my iPhone. Today I am writing a blog with pictures from my camera. While we were visiting there, we saw rock climbers there for the first time. It was pretty cool. As I write this today, the park is currently closed. The Waldo Canyon fire is in the area. Thoughts and prayers for everyone in the area. This is one of my favorite places and I love visiting there every time I am in Colorado Springs!

Great pictures. We have not spent much time in Colorado. Next trip west this will be a “must do.”

I’m very concerned for friends in Colorado Springs as well.
I lived there while in elementary school–Garden of the Gods was a family favorite since due to low cost (f-r-e-e!) and fresh air.

My parents live there and their car is packed, in case of evacuation. Prayers for all the residents and fire fighters. -Helen
