My sister, Nancy, and I love learning about wine from the professionals. When we knew we were going to go to the Burgundy region, we contacted our cousin who lives in Paris. They have traveled all over France and she is an amazing resource for contacts. She referred us to Collette Barbier. During our trip Collette was unavailable, so we were referred to her daughter Emma. We were excited for the day that Emma had planned for us. It started with Emma picking us up from the hotel. From there we drove into the area surrounding Beaune. We learned about Burgundy wines and this is when I knew we were going to have an amazing day! Now I can read Burgundy wine bottle and understand the label.
