During lunch, we looked at the map of Lyon and decided to visit Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière. It overlooks the city and sits on top of the hill. We started out confident in the walk, then realized it was quite the trek up the steep hill. In a future blog you will see the tram that we missed and could have taken up to Notre-Dame. All of us trekking up to the church makes for a good story! It did give me the opportunity to take some great pictures.
