Prior to visiting Montririus, I had never visited a bio-dynamic winery. For more information on bio-dynamic wine making check out their website. It is more than just no chemicals on the winemaking process. Each winery that Philip from La Madeléne chose during our 3-night wine tour was different, which we loved. Every winery takes great care and love in creating the best wine, however the attention to detail at Montririus was unbelievable. Our tour was conducted by one of the owners, Christine. Christine and her husband Eric are the owners and it is true family run business. I love seeing people who have a passion for what they do and that was evident with our tour. The tasting was conducted in the dining room of the house at an amazing table and view of the vineyard. Thank you for a great visit!
