I am blessed with the life and experiences that I have!  Loving life and experience is what I am about.  I have broken my experience lists into categories:

Of course the most important experiences happen with friends and family and the best ones are spontaneous.

  1. Hi Helen – Love the new blog! It’s a great way to share your approach to travel while showcasing your wonderful photography. I have a question about the list above – Why are some “links” and some not? Just curious. BTW, from what I can tell you are doing great with WordPress – I think I’ll come to you for help!

  2. Sarah-

Thanks! The reason why some are linked and others are not yet, is because some are things (at least I think) that can’t be linked and the time it takes to do the links. I am getting faster!

Also, I know you have some things that I should add to the list! What are some of your favorites?

  3. Great list, I love it.

Well in Your list was “•Ice hotel in Sweden”. I guess that it is great, but why in Your list I cannot find World Biggest Snow Castle in Finland, It is not only castle, but it has ice bars, ice restaurant, ice hotel and chapel. One can get married in ice chapel.

Okay here is my link in my posts to Snow Castle here in Finland that You can get an idea through my photos how extraordinary it is really.

  4. The travel stuff on my bucket list:
Paris (actually all of France, hit the museums because I am such a Van Gogh nut, see a bunch of WW I & II battlefields)
    Visit Egypt
Visit all 50 states (about 50% done there)
    Sail in the Bahamas/Carribean
Go back to Winter Carnival at Michigan Tech (my alma mater)
    Go to Oktoberfest
Ride a motorcycle on every continent (I haven’t answered if I need to do this in Antarctica or not!)
    See cigars rolled in Cuba
See an Australian Rules Football Grand Final match

  5. Awesome that you have these lists, and I like the experience v. places division. I made a “decade list” – 10 things to do in 10 years – still not done it 15 years later! 🙂
I think I’m going to start a new one – and maybe putting it on my blog will help me make some progress. Thanks!
