Patience is needed in the creation of a Sand Mandela. It takes approximately 100 hours for the monks to complete a Sand Mandela. I took a few pictures during the different stages of its creation. If you ever have the opportunity to witness the creation or dismantling of a Sand Mandela, I HIGHLY recommend it. The amount of detail and dedication to creating it is amazing.
