Quinta da Pacheca- Cambres, Portugal

Our last Quinta visit with Wine Moments and Gourmet during our Portuguese adventure was to Quinta da Pacheca. In Portugal wineries are called Qunita’s. The tasting at Pacheca was done outside, which allowed me to explore during the tasting. The sun was beginning to set, so it allowed me to capture some photos of the sun low in the sky. It was a beautiful day and absolutely perfect way to end our day of wine tasting. We were there in the beginning of October, which was beautiful during the day and a little chilly at night. Also, there is a wine house (bed and breakfast) at Quinta da Pacheca, which looked like an amazing place to stay and will be on the list of possibilities when we plan a return. We loved their wines and port! They also had a great wine club and we were able to ship some back home. Thank you Wine Moments for an amazing two days touring the Douro.

There are so many places in the world that we want to explore. Don’t know when our journey will return to the Douro, but there is more to explore.
