After our visit to Atelier Denniel with Emily from Your Private Provence, we visited the town of Bonnieux. It is located in the Luberon Region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. We had wanted to visit the towns that you think of when you picture Provence. Private tour guide or car is the best way to access these beautiful towns. These great towns aren’t accessible by the trains. Bonnieux is known for it’s two churches and lots of steps that join the two. We started our visit with the church at the top. After the history from Emily we walked down the hill to the “new” church at the bottom. It is a beautiful town and would love to stay here to explore it more.
