A few months ago I started using Snapchat to chronicle my #TravelWithLaughter moments. I am in the Denver area for a meeting this week, so I spent the weekend with my parents. We decided to visit Rocky Mountain National Park on Sunday. We enjoyed our time at the park and escaped the heat wave in the Boulder area. It was in the upper 70s in the mountains vs. the 98 degrees in Boulder. For those that follow my blog know I LOVE the National Parks, but also know my idea of camping is Marriott! Beauty awaits around every corner in the National Parks. We drove from the Fall River entrance to the Alpine Visitor Center, which is only a small portion of the park.
Happy 100th Birthday to the National Park System!
The melting snow, yes there was still snow at 11,000+ feet, is allowing for some swift moving water at the lower elevations.
