Domaine Rene LeClerc- Burgundy, FR

The second winery that we stopped at with Emma Barbier was Domaine Rene LeClerc. One of the things that we loved about our tour with Emma was that it was a very personal tour and we met the wine makers! It was such a treat. We met and toured the caves with Francois. Then we tasted some great wines, which included many laughs. Nancy and I don’t speak French and Francois didn’t speak English. It makes for a great time. It included a wine from 1978, which was a real treat. All of the wines were yummy. They are beginning to export their wines to Pennsylvania and I am excited to find them. We didn’t purchase any wines from here and regret it 😦
