After a couple of day in Avignon, we were ready to start our wine tour. The B&B was located about 40 minutes outside of Avignon. We had the idea to hire a tour guide to show us the Luberon Region and other treasures. We wanted to maximize our time with sightseeing. Philip from La Madelene Rhone Wine Holidays recommended Your Private Provence. Emily is the owner and was our guide for the day. We started by heading towards the Luberon. We stopped at a little market to get some fresh goodies for our picnic lunch. I love these markets in France! We did stop by a mowed lavender field and took a fun picture, which you will see in the photos below.
