The Doylestown Farmers’ Market is open from Mid-April till Mid-November. The 2016 season opened today (April 16th)! My favorite thing to do on Saturday mornings is to visit the market, pick out some goodies and cook them for dinner! Those that follow my blog regularly know that buying local and supporting local businesses is very important for me. When we support local businesses, we keep our community thriving. Right now, the market is filled with lots of plants for you to put in your garden, which I wish I had. I was able to find some goodies to cook for dinner tonight. We are about to begin the growing season in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area, so there aren’t many fresh veggies. That will change over the next few weeks/months. The market also has lots of local vendors that create products from local items. There are some great old favorites as vendors and looks like some nice new additions.
