The Village of Chateauneuf du Pape was the where we enjoyed our lunch. The restaurant, Le Verger des Papes, is located in the shadows of the Popes castle. The castle was used by the Popes that were in Avignon as a summer home. It was absolutely perfect weather, so we were able to eat lunch on the terrace. We enjoyed a delicious meal with a great rosé. Conversation, food and views were perfect.
