Christmas Day in Paris! My solo trip to Paris was filled with things I have never done in Paris. As I researched what to do on Christmas Day, I had read that a lot of the restaurants and places would be closed. (Side note- there was more open than I expected) I decided to see if the boat tours of the Seine were operating on Christmas Day. Six years ago, when we started our sister trips, I discovered a great blog: The Weekend in Paris. Since then I have used it as a source for researching my Parisian adventures. Priscilla recommends the Bateaux-Mouches for boat cruises on the Seine. The tour I chose was the Christmas lunch cruise. Traveling solo is very empowering. I admit is was a little uncomfortable in the beginning to be alone on the cruise. I settled in and enjoyed myself. I have learned that if I want to do something, DO IT!

After the cruise on the Seine, I decided to walk to the Christmas Market on the Champs-Elysées. It was fun to walk around and found a couple things for me!
Fab place to be at Christmas! Here’s to more adventures in 2017 🙂
