My favorite day on our trip to France in November was the when we went wine tasting with Olivier from Kanpai tours.  One of the things we love doing on our trips to France is to explore the wine regions.  This year we explored the Beaujolais region of Burgundy.  Before my trip to Beaujolais, I thought of this region only for the Beaujolais Nouveau released in November.  I was mistaken and it is so much more than that.  Since visiting the area, I have fallen in love with the white wines from the region.  Our first visit was to Domaine Thibert Pere & Fils.  We had a great visit with owner of the winery.  One of the advantages of doing private wine tours is they know the owners and winemakers in the are you are visiting, so you get personalized tours of the vineyard and wineries.  They had delicious wines and we wish we were able to bring more back.  Thank you Domaine Thibert Pere & Fils for a great visit!
