In October of 2010, my sister and I participated in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in NYC. It was an amazing experience for many reasons. The main reason being the training walks that we completed together! We had many laughs during the walks and it made the miles go faster. Valley Forge National Park was a great place for us to meet to walk, talk, and laugh. Here are a few images from our walks…..

So beautiful. I visited Valley Forge in ’97 during the summer. It was hard to imagine the hardships the troops faced since it was sunny and beautiful. Maybe I should visit during the winter to get a better idea.
