This week, I had the inspiration to post photos of the moon throughout 2026. As I take photos of the moon during the year, I will upload them with the location to provide a unique perspective on this celestial body. Each image will capture the moon’s various phases, showcasing its beauty against diverse landscapes, whether it’s the serene glow over a tranquil lake or the dramatic backdrop of a bustling city skyline. Looking forward to sharing the inspiration throughout the year.

Wolf Moon- Warrington and Doylestown PennsylvaniaJanuary 2nd/3rd

The new year kicked off with the stunning Wolf Moon, illuminating the night sky in a brilliant display. I truly love being able to witness the moon during Golden Hour from my parents’ in Warrington, PA. Then it was especially nice to see the same celestial beauty reflected over The County Theater in Doylestown, where the historic architecture seemed to reach out to the lunar glow, creating a picturesque scene that felt almost surreal.

This morning, I glanced up and saw the moon, its glow accentuating the beauty of the day. The sight was so captivating that I felt compelled to pull over to the side of the road. I reached for my phone and snapped a couple of photos.

Full Moon- Doylestown, PA- February 1st

Since it is brutally cold in Bucks County right now, I wasn’t planning on capturing the full moon tonight. I am glad now that I had to run out for an errand. I was about to capture the Snow Moon around Doylestown a little bit.
