If you follow my blog, you know I like to go for walks, especially when the weather is nice and the sun is shining. On Good Friday, I went for a walk with a couple of friends, enjoying the fresh air and catching up on each other’s lives as we strolled. As we made our way down the familiar streets, I realized that I have passed Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church hundreds of times (maybe close to a thousand), yet I had never truly taken the time to appreciate its charm. That day, I was drawn to the stations of the cross that they have outside, beautifully crafted and positioned for reflection. I had never really looked at them before that day, and seeing their intricate details made me pause and think. The serene atmosphere enveloped us, and I found it to be a beautiful and peaceful place, an unexpected sanctuary amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, where one can contemplate and find solace in the quieter moments.

These are nice! What a coincidence… I also walked the Stations in a parish named Our Lady of Carmel here in Buenos Aires. I hope to post some photos soon. God bless you!
