I am heading to Chicago for a business meeting. I love it when I get the email that I have been confirmed for a first class upgrade! Then I get a text from a colleague and find out we are on the same flight. Wait it gets better, we both got upgraded and sitting next to each other! Then I notice we taxi to a remote part of PHL and the pilot shuts the engines off. There is a ground stop in Chicago due to weather. So, we decide to enjoy our First Class upgrade. We wanted mimosa’s, but no champagne. Instead we enjoy other beverages. We seem to be the only ones enjoying the ground stop!
