Did you know that there was a whiskey distillery in Park City, UT? High West Distillery is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine spirits and a charming atmosphere! Before going to Utah, I had heard many stories about how you often had to buy a drink with dinner due to local customs or regulations. However, I didn’t encounter any of those during my visit. After doing a fascinating tour of the distillery, where we learned about the whiskey-making process and the history behind High West, we enjoyed a delightful dinner at their restaurant. It was a place with great character, featuring rustic decor and a warm ambiance, complemented by genuinely good food that highlighted local ingredients. Park City is a vibrant destination that I definitely want to go back and explore further. Even though I don’t ski, the town offers a plethora of activities and scenic beauty, making it look like a fun place to visit in the winter, whether it’s indulging in a cozy meal by the fire or strolling through the charming streets adorned with lights.

Cool use of jars for lights

  1. The food looks terrific…I know you must have really enjoyed the meal. I was thinking of you yesterday…someone had stayed at the same B & B you did in the Loire and I recognized the photo. Small world.
