On Memorial Day, I was walking around Doylestown after visiting the vintage car show. I came across a huge flag in someone’s yard. While I stopped to take a picture, the owner of the house was in the yard. She gave me a history of the flag. It is from her husband’s family in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It is created around 1908-10. If I remember correctly is was after Arizona was made a state. I love history and it was great to learn the history of the flag. Also, it is the same age as the house. Cool things are everywhere you turn, when you open your eyes!

wow, that’s cool! I know Park Slope well 🙂 The flag has great ties – and 46 stars! It is before America’s time, as we know it.
