For the past couple of years, I have been listening to my friend Renee Heigel talking about eating local. This year I joined a CSA and I am understanding why she is so passionate about eating local. Last week I got purple cabbage from my CSA. I have never made anything with this before. So, to the Internet I went! Found a recipe for a sautéed cabbage. I made it. Adapted the recipe slightly! I shredded the cabbage with my Cutco. Put it in my Cutco cookware with red wine, honey and water. Cooked till liquids evaporated. Then let it get sticky to the pan and browned slightly. At the farmers market today I got mushrooms and grass-fed steak! Delish dinner!! Love it.
Wow, you make healthy local food look delicious!
