This week, I had meeting in Upstate NY. It is such a beautiful area and not what people think of when they think of NY. I work for Vector Marketing and we sell Cutco Cutlery. One of the things that I love about my job is that Cutco knives are American made. I have been to the factory over 15 times and each time it gets me excited for working for a great company and product. I always want to go out and sell after seeing this great product being made. While we were meeting, we decided to take a tour of the Cutco factory. I love seeing the product being made. I saw the stainless steel table knives being made for the first time. These pictures show some of the major steps of manufacturing Cutco. It was also great to see some Cutco that is over 30 years old that was sent back to be refurbished, which can be done under the guarantee. The Campus Recruiting Team had a great visit to Olean.
Since I started working for Cutco 21 years ago, my customers have been asking for a can opener. Starting at some point in the fall of 2012, we will start selling the Cutco can opener. While we were there it was exciting that we were able to use the pre-production can opener. WOW! It was so smooth to use. In combination with my Cutco and my CSA produce this summer, I am having a blast cooking!
