Today was a great day with my parents! We all miss my sister and know she wouldn’t want us not experiencing life and creating memories. If I have learned anything over the past two weeks, it is that life is short.
We went to have a picnic and explore Lake Nockamixon. It was a beautiful day to explore the lake. We picnicked in the car to be sure to social distance, because we all need to stay healthy. It felt great to get out into nature! I was joking with my parents that I was going to get them a kayak or SUP, so they can go out on the lake. LOL! If you know my parents, they won’t be in a kayak anytime soon. The water was beautiful!
Lake Towhee
While we were driving around Lake Nockamixon, we saw a sign for Lake Towhee. I had never heard of it, so we went to explore it. It was a cute little lake. The lakes are filled with lilly pads and good to see people enjoying the outdoors.
