Connecting with nature has been my solace, since my sister passed away in June. The photos below are mostly taken during my walks around Doylestown. During my walks and in nature are where I feel her spirit the most. She is my guardian angel and feel her around me all the time.

Guardian Angel Prayer

Angel of God,
my guardian dear,
To whom God’s love
commits me here,
Ever this day,
be at my side,
To light and guard,
Rule and guide.

For over 140 days and counting, I have posted a photo a day on Instagram. Many of these photos are in addition to those on Instagram. All photos were taken with iPhone 11 Pro Max and edited with Veil Presets.

Domani Star

For those of you that follow me regularly, you know this is a favorite for me. On Friday nights, they have a jazz duo. Dining in the streets is normal for me now, but my parents, enjoyed a meal together on a beautiful Friday night.

Heirloom

There is a new restaurant in Doylestown, Heirloom. It is a great place for brunch and open for breakfast/lunch. We celebrated a friend’s seven year old birthday there twice!

Quinoa

Another favorite of mine is Quinoa. We celebrated a co-workers birthday lunch. You can tell we liked the assorted appetizers and I didn’t get a picture right away.

Omiza Restaurant

Recently, a new asian restaurant opened. I joined some friends. It was a fun evening and good food! There was a lot of gluten free items for me to chose from to order.

Cross Culture

September has been beautiful weather, so I have taken advantage of the evenings. One night I went to Cross Culture for a great solo dinner!

9/11 Memorial in Doylestown

The headquarters for the Travis Manion Foundation are in Doylestown. They were a recipient of a beam from the World Trade Center. They helped build a 9/11 Memorial, which is located by the Bucks County Justice Center.

County Theater Construction

At the start of 2020, the County Theater started an expansion. In September, the air conditioning units were placed on the roof. It meant a large crane and the road to be shut down for a morning. It is important to shop local, but especially to these stores/restaurants that are dealing with a double whammy.

Flowers around Doylestown

LOVE flowers and there were some beauties around Doylestown!

Monkey’s Uncle

Monkey’s Uncle is a family owned store in Doylestown. If you are looking for Philly sports gear, this is where you should go! Located in the front is a love rock area, which brightens your day to read.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

St. Paul’s will always hold a special place in my heart. It is where we had Nancy’s funeral. One morning before sunrise, the church looked amazing and I paused for a prayer.

Michener Art Museum

Love the grounds around Michener Art Museum.

Random Doylestown Photos

Castle Valley Park

There is a cute little park outside of Doylestown that I discovered this summer. I stopped there for a little walk.

Miss you Nancy and forever in my heart!
