We saw the Eiffel Tower in the rain. Paris is the City of Lights, so we wanted to see it at night. After a day of touring the city we headed to the Eiffel tower. Until I saw these pictures, I never knew there were cross at the tope of the tower. It was an amazing sight to see and some of my favorite pictures of the trip.

Okay, I have to say that I have seen “tons of Eiffel photos”, but Yours are awesome! The light is inspiring and beautiful, it causes that my heart started to beat to Paris, which is one of my favorite.

Okay, now I am really intrigued. I was going through some of my photos this past week, and came across one of the Eiffel Tower that I took in early November of 2010. I can’t believe that up until now I hadn’t noticed a cross at the top of the tower. You’ve captured it as well. But there is no mention of the cross on the internet. I’m really curious as to why.

I love Paris! I’ve just come back and we also went up the tower at night as we’d gone up Montparnasse tower in the day – wanted to see the city by day and night. Did you take the lift or brave the stairs?

We didn’t go all the way to the top. The fog and rain was too heavy to see anything above the second level. We went to Montparnasse and would love to go back. -Helen

All snaps you have taken are just mind-blowing. looks like a gold plated Eiffel tower. The Eiffel Tower is a fantastic example of engineering and offers some excellent views over the city in the night.
