Pan Mei Miyake- Portland, ME

WOW! That is about all I can say about this restaurant. I have a new favorite. Portland, ME has amazing restaurants. We were headed to a different restaurant and this was calling my name. We changed our plans, so glad we did. I had never heard of Yakitori Grill before. It is a variety of skewers that are grilled over binchotan charcoal. The meats are also sourced locally!!!! I had beef tongue for the first time. The oysters were the best I ever had. My favorite was hamayaki. It was scallop and crab on sushi rice in spicy mayonnaise. Also, I have never had a ceviche sushi roll before. I highly recommend this restaurant.
