I don’t know how to answer to that question. I am feeling motivated right now. Yes, I have been taking pictures. However, I haven’t downloaded any from my camera since before Thanksgiving. I have been traveling A LOT since mid-November and I just completed downloading over 1,300 pictures. I don’t even know where to begin, but excited to share them with you as I edit them. I am committing to a post a day for January 2013, so I better get started.
There are two apps on my iPhone that have allowed me to not miss a beat with my posts and photos: Camera+ (my favorite photo editing app) and the new word press app. I use both everyday. Nothing will replace my DSLR, but those two apps are great to use. Especially, when traveling and I don’t have my computer and Lightroom with me.
In 2012, I attended two conferences about blogging. After going to those conferences, I decided to make a commitment to my photography. You can check out my photos available for purchase here: Travel with Laughter Photos. In the spring of 2012, I had taken two great photography classes (Allure West) and have started to upgrade my lenses. It has been fun. On my Experience list is to have a show with my photography. I am very happy to announce that in July 2013 my photography will be featured at Zen Den in Doylestown! It will be my best Doylestown photography.
Here is the start to my recent pictures. In November, I traveled to Washington DC for work. It was right before my trip to France with my sister. I rented a Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L II USM for the trip and here are my first pictures with the lens. I have fallen in LOVE with this lens!
Also, during this trip I bought Grecie at the National Zoo. Grecie is grey stuffed elephant. You will see her in a couple my pics, it is to bring awareness to brain cancer. I have a friend who has been battling brain cancer, so it is to bring a smile to her face too!
