After touring the archeology site under Cathedral Saint-Pierre, we visited the Cathedral. It was a beautiful church with so much history. I LOVE the churches in Europe, I find them very peaceful.

I remember this cathedral well and agree with you about the European churches. I have seen some of the most beautiful works of art in churches that are empty, while the streets are brimming with tourists. It is good to stop and appreciate the beauty around us!
