WOW!!!! For those of you that follow my blog, you know I am a foodie and Doylestown has a well-kept secret. Justin McClain is the chef at the Standard Club in Doylestown and I am letting the secret out of the bag. He is amazing and you can tell he has a passion for cooking.  As you know, I love when people are following their passion.  It shows in his love for the food and your experience eating his creations.

Last night a group of friends went to dinner at the Standard Club. On Wednesday nights they do a chef’s table (tasting menu) and WOW!!! Justin hit a home run with everyone! I am gluten-free and my friend Jenny is a vegetarian. According to Jenny, “Best Vegetarian Meal EVER!” He made tofu scallops for Jenny. We had about 7 different tastings. You will see more pics, because I did take pics of Jenny’s vegetarian creations. The layers of tastes that Justin used were amazing. As I am looking at these pictures, I want to go back right now. Can’t wait to do the Chef’s table again!
