The weather in Doylestown is perfect right now. I haven’t been able to say that for a while. It has been raining in Southeastern Pennsylvania since summer of 2018! Haha! When I am home and it is nice out, I take advantage of the weather.

Recently, Doylestown was named USA Today’s Best Small Town Cultural Scene. There are many things to see and do in town. These are just a few of my favorite and what I have done over the past couple of months.

Ross Mill Farm

One of my good friends volunteers at Ross Mill Farm. It is a pot belly pig sanctuary and placement farm. It is a beautiful space and open daily from 12-5 pm. Fun place to visit!

Annually they have a PiggyPalooza and open the farm with music, vegan food and fundraising. It is a great sanctuary for the pigs and peaceful for visitors. I love eating places where I just need to make sure they have Gluten Free food. We had delicious food while listening to music! Luhv was there, which has awesome vegan soups and sandwiches. I buy their soups and vegan burgers. Nellie Rae’s, which we love for brunch, was there. There also were amazing falafel and fries, which I had (don’t know their name to tag). Dreams ice cream was there with AMAZING vegan ice cream. I got the last scoop of ice scream they had! I will be seeking them out.

Doylestown Farmers Market

One of my favorite things to do on Saturday’s morning is our Farmer’s Market. I love getting kombucha, veggies and other yummy food!

Domani Star

My favorite restaurant in Doylestown is Domani Star! It is great food, people, and atmosphere. If you didn’t know Pennsylvania has many great restaurants that are BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) and Domani Star is one of them. Their menu just changed for the summer and the perfect weather this has made for an amazing combination.

On Friday night’s at their sister restaurant Sorella has have jazz!

Quinoa

BYO’s are some of my restaurant’s. When visiting Doylestown, Quinoa is another great choice. They have a couple tables outside which is good for a cool and low humidity night. The sun does hit the table at night, but it’s great to be outside. I was there with a friend and we enjoyed some wine from Cantine de Angelis, which was a great winery I visited in Sorrento, Italy. If you like ceviche, this place is a must visit!

Blú Mediterranean Grill

Another good BYO is Blú. Unexpectedly, I had a dinner with my mom. We enjoyed a yummy meal with fresh Bronzino.

Enjoy! The photos in this blog are the property of Travel with Laughter and can’t be used without written permission.
