One of my favorite restaurants in Doylestown is Quinoa. It is a sister restaurant to El Tule in Lambertville, NJ. I first started going to El Tule and was excited that they opened in Doylestown a few years ago. Brunch with friends is one of my favorite meals with them. This week Quinoa started serving brunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They contacted me to come in and see what they have created. I went with a couple of my friends. I will be back
We started out with delicious smoothies. We had them made with water, which is infused with other goodies. They were so yummy!
They have typical Peruvian breakfast sampler. Instead of pork belly we did ceviche. There were two tamales, yucca fries and sweet potatoes. It was yummy and there was a bread basket. I didn’t enjoy the bread, but my friends said it was delicious.
There were so many yummy choices on the menu. We then had their Aguacate toast with chipotle lime shrimp, which was on Nord Bread. It is made locally and I am able to eat because it has a low gluten. We also enjoyed plantains and Chilaquiles con huevo.
The restaurant is bright and cheery. Love the mural on the wall.
