One of my favorite things about Doylestown is all the options for shopping and supporting local businesses. From April to November Doylestown has a Farmer’s Market and I love the vendors. This year there are are few new stands that I have started shopping and enjoying their products. One of my favorite things to do on Saturday morning is to walk around and see what inspires me to cook that week.
Goodies is a great vendor with yummy products. This week I got the Chive Blossom Vinegar and looking forward to using it to make salad dressing.

Barefoot Botanicals has awesome products and this year has a new one: syrups. You can use these to make your own beverages. Along with great teas and other herbs.

One of my favorite places to get veggies from is Love Grows CSA. Brad and Ailsa put love into what they do and you can taste it their veggies. They have so many great ones, but my favorite is their fall delicata squash!

One of my new favorites is Portch Tea. Every week there are different flavors to chose form and they are delish. You can buy a growler and have it refilled every week, which has become a nice addition to my beverage selection at home.

Offbeat Gourmet has a nice selection of items. I have enjoyed many of them to complement my cooking.

Items from other vendors.

There is always music playing at the market and in the area.

Another favorite thing is to eat at local restaurants. Nellie Rae’s in Revere has recently started serving dinner on Friday evenings. I have been there for brunch and was excited to try their dinners. It did not disappoint and was amazing. We all shared a plum and watermelon radish arugula salad. Friends had their grilled peaches with goat cheese and candied walnuts. They had a great vegan smoked provolone plate. I had the vegan sushi roll. For the entree we all had their lentil Bolognese. It was delicious and a great comfort food.
Now that looks like a really nice farmer’s market.
