This year July 4th was on a Thursday, so it was a great way to have a four day weekend. It’s been a year since my parent’s moved to Doylestown. On the 4th, we decided to go exploring around Bucks County. It was too warm to attend any of the outdoor festivities. We started early and had breakfast in New Hope. We then drove to Lambertville, NJ. We took photos at the river. After living here for 18 years, I never took photos from here. It is crazy how far cameras on the phones have come. These were taken with my phone.

We drove around, but didn’t take many more photos. My friend’s have been telling me about Luvin’ Oven in Frenchtown, NJ, so we went there for lunch. Didn’t take any pics of the food, but the fish tacos were great! My father is retired from the military. They gave him his meal for free, which was very nice.

One of my favorite places to go on the weekends is the Doylestown Farmer’s Market. One of my favorites Goodies wasn’t there this week, so I don’t have photos. Love Grows CSA is a favorite. New this year is PhilDILLphia pickling company and their kimchi is great. Sandbrook Meadow Farm has great goodies as well. Portch Tea has yummy kombucha. Bishop Hill Winery is there every other week. It’s a good local winery and has fun activities on the weekends. Silver Wolf Productions has beautiful jewelry.

On Sunday, I watched the US Women’s Soccer team win their fourth World Cup! It was a great way to end a great weekend!
