As I right this blog, Bucks County, PA has started a “lockdown.” All non essential business will close beginning March 16th. This is extremely tough for everyone especially the many small businesses that are located in Doylestown. Many of them are my friends and I feel for them.

I live in a loft apartment and I am practicing social distancing. However, fresh air and being outside is also good for our mental health. Today was sunny, so I spent a little time outside. Now more than ever we need to be kind and do everything we can to flatten the curve. Here some photos from signs of spring! Beauty is all around us even during these times.

Also, I am cooking more and making nutrient rich meals for both me and my parents. My parents are staying in and practicing social distancing, which makes it even more important to eat healthy. If you know anyone who is unable to leave because they are elderly or immunocompromised, check in on them, bring them food, or make sure they have what they need. For over 28 years, I have worked for Cutco Cutlery and I am happy to have the best American made kitchen product to cook with. If you are in need of some Cutco, let me know!

Be kind! We are all in this together.
