This week, I have been saying I feel like I live in a snow globe. Doylestown began February 2021 with a three day snowstorm. Today (February 7, 2021), we are having another storm. Today’s storm is beautiful and I went out in the morning to take some photos. The way the snow is sticking to the trees is beautiful. The snow is light and puffy, which makes shoveling easier! The forecasters were calling for 4-6 inches. I think it looks like more than that this morning.
I didn’t realize till late last night that there was a snow emergency in Doylestown that was beginning at 4 am. By the time I realized it, it was too late to move my car. I woke up at 5:30 am to move my car. I parked in a lot and while I was clearing it off, a nice guy called Shane offered to shovel the front of my car. I wasn’t moving my car, it was so nice.
This is the beautiful stage of the snow, before it gets all dirty!
For someone from the tropics like me, there’s something magical about snow that makes us curious and marvel at photos of places blanketed in it. I know for those who actually live there, snow can be unpleasant. But I guess we’re always interested in things we don’t usually find back home. Beautiful photos!
