Traveling by train is one of my favorite ways to travel. It feels like I am stepping back in time at these stations. I learned early in my travel career that there is always another train. It allows for me to be flexible and spontaneous, if I want to change my plans. As I walk through these train stations, I imagine what it was like to travel by train in these stations in the early 1900s. What is your favorite way to travel?
Union Station- Washington, DC
The main hall of Union Station is so impressive. Many times when I pass through there are events set up. It would be fun and beautiful to attend an event there.
30th Street Station- Philadelphia, PA
Built in the 1920s, 30th Street Station has so much history and character. In 2019, the old train board was replaced with a digital board. I still miss the clicking of the old board. The Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia has a board to pay homage to the old train board.

Penn Station- Baltimore, MD
This is a small, but beautiful train station. I don’t travel here often, but it is a beautiful and has so much history.
